ATTENTION: COVID-19 UPDATES
FOLLOWING CDC RECOMMENDATIONS AND GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES, ALL NURSING HOMES ARE CURRENTLY RESTRICTING OUTSIDE VISITORS
The only exemption of this mandate is for compassionate care in “end-of-life” situations (e.g. hospice teams). Given the congregate nature and residents served in long-term care facilities (e.g., older adults often with underlying chronic medical conditions), nursing home populations are at the highest risk of being affected by COVID-19.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been dominating headlines in recent weeks. This virus is affecting tens of thousands of people around the globe. In this unprecedented and uncertain time of our nation, our precious residents have already been suffering the effects of social isolation and now with all activities suspended, their spiritual needs are only growing!!
OCAGM is asking our partner community to join us in this fight of faith – It is a call to action! (2 Chronicles 7:14)
PLEASE PRAY WITH US FOR (Psalm 91)
- THOSE AFFLICTED BY THIS DEADLY DISEASE AND THEIR LOVED ONES
- HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS ON THE FRONT LINES
- NURSING HOME RESIDENTS SUFFERING FROM SOCIAL AND SPIRITUAL ISOLATION
- OPEN DOORS FOR OUR MINSITRY TEAM VISITS AND THE GOSPEL
Our hope is in Christ and the Blessed Hope of His soon return. Disasters such as these should remind us of our eternal hope in Christ and awaken us to the need to share His hope with those around us.
